Food for Fines

by Law Library on 2022-11-04T16:00:00-05:00 | 0 Comments

It’s that time of year again! The UNT Dallas College of Law Library is conducting its annual Food for Fines donation drive. Now until November 30th, students can bring items to the Law Library’s service desk during regular operating hours. One unopened, unexpired nonperishable food item is the equivalent of $1. Students can bring canned soups, canned tuna, SpaghettiOs, boxed pasta, mashed potatoes, etc.

This is a great way to help students pay off any overdue fines that they have incurred on their accounts. All food items will be donated to the UNT Dallas Trailblazers Care Pantry. The Trailblazers Care Pantry is an on-campus resource for UNT Dallas students in need.

Items that are expired, damaged or perishable will not be accepted. This is a great way for UNT Dallas Law students to make a difference in their surrounding community. Even if you do not have outstanding fines, it is still a wonderful opportunity to help those in need. For more information contact the Law Library at (214) 243-1775 or by email at lawlibrary@untdallas.edu.
