Reserving Study Rooms

Study Room Policies

Study Room Policies:

General Study Room Rules

  1. Reservations can be made up to six days in advance.
  2. Reservations are restricted to a maximum of 2 hours.
  3. When making a reservation only use @mylaw.untdallas.edu, @my.unt.edu, @untdallas.edu, @my.untdallas.edu e-mail addresses only.
  4. UNT Law School events have precedence over all reservations.
  5. There is a 15 minute grace period for reservations. If the room is not being used by the group at the end of the grace period, the entire reservation is canceled. If your reservation has been canceled but still have a need of a group study room, please find an alternate location or see someone at the reference desk.
  6. Each law student’s name can only be attached to one reservation per day. Each student’s daily limit is reached regardless if they are the primary person on the reservation or listed as part of the group.
  7. The reservation online form most be completely filled out. This includes full names and emails for all group members.
  8. Reservations must meet the minimum number of law students required by the size of the study room. 

 

Large Study Rooms (640, 623)

To reserve this room a minimum of four or more law students are needed. Rooms may be reserved for a maximum of two hours consecutively.

There is a 15 minute grace period for reservations. If the room is not being used by the group at the end of the grace period, the entire reservation is canceled. If your reservation has been canceled but still have a need of a group study room, please find an alternate location or see someone at the reference desk.

Please reserve this room by using your UNT email address, and please note UNT Law School events have precedence for meeting spaces. Occupants without reservations will be asked to relinquish rooms to users with reservations.

For larger study rooms, please enter the names of the other student when prompted to enter who else will be using the room.

Please note that each group can reserve it once for a two hour block each day and your name can only be attached to one reservation per day. Each student’s daily limit is reached regardless if they are the primary person on the reservation or listed as part of the group.

 

 Small Study Rooms (621, 622, 624, 625)

To reserve this room a minimum of two law students are needed. Rooms may be reserved for a maximum of two hours consecutively.

If your reservation has been canceled but still have a need of a group study room, please find an alternate location or see someone at the reference desk.
